I grew up in beautiful Pine Mountain, Georgia, complete with hay fields, horses, old barns, and historic houses, which is what I grew to love. I finally ventured out of the country to go to school at Georgia Tech for my BS in Architecture. My wonderful husband, our four children, and I moved to Sharpsburg so that we wouldn’t be so far away from school and work, but still far enough away not to be in the city. When I’m at home, I love quilting, cooking good southern food, and snuggling with my kids and Miss Emily, my Chihuahua (a.k.a. fifth child). But most of all, we all love piling into the Land Rover together and riding back roads and off-road every chance we get. I also love making my husband stop to let me take pictures, mostly of the country-side and old houses. But all the while, don’t ever doubt I’ll be wearing my high-heels!
